Previously, editors had to download an entire 20GB+ VOD, open heavy video editing software, import the file, and export the clip — wasting hours of time and gigabytes of bandwidth. KickCutter solves this problem in seconds.
KickCutter does not download the full broadcast. Instead, our high-bandwidth backend queries the Kick stream HLS video manifest and directly slices only the requested video segment using optimized yt-dlp and ffmpeg stream-copying pipelines.
Direct segment slicing saves gigabytes of mobile data and disk space.
Exported MP4 files are completely clean and ready for YouTube Shorts, Reels, and TikTok.
Preserves the creator's exact original resolution, bitrate, and framerate.
Clips are temporarily generated solely for download and automatically deleted.
